This cocktail is a collection of some of my favourite ingredients. Plus, I realised the acronym spells out LIIT which feels appropriate.

I’m over 50 days into isolation and it doesn’t look like it’ll be ending any time soon for us in the Netherlands. Cold brew in the morning, homemade baking and good cocktails are a few of the things that are making it all bearable.

Here’s how to make a Long Isolation Iced Tea at home.

Ingredients

  • 15 ml navy strength gin
  • 15 ml reposado tequila.
  • 15 By The Dutch arrack
  • 15 ml vodka
  • 15 ml triple sec
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • 30 ml lemon juice.
  • Ginger beer to top
  • 3 dash angostura bitters
  • Lemon slices and mint to garnish

Method

Add all the liquor and juices to a shaker and shake over ice. Strain into an ice filled glass and top with ginger beer. Dash the bitters on top and garnish with lemon and mint. Stay inside and drink up!
